About

Alaska is a state of the United States of America, one of 50 and the largest, covering about 1,460,000 square kilometres — 16% of the country. It lies in the northwest. It is made up of ten separate pieces of land. It shares no border with another subdivision of the country. The Copper, Koyukuk, Kuskokwim and N. Fork Kuskokwim run through it, and it takes in Iliamna Lake, Lake Clark, Lake Louise and Teshekpuk Lake.
