Yukon is a territory of Canada, one of 13 and the ninth largest, covering about 481,000 square kilometres — 5% of the country. It lies in the northwest. It is made up of two separate pieces of land. It borders British Columbia and Northwest Territories. The Liard, Porcupine, Teslin and Yukon run through it, and it takes in Aishihik Lake and Teslin Lake.

A gift named for Canada is a restricted gift: recorded against Canada and spent there. If it cannot be spent there within a year it is pooled into the general fund and spent wherever it is needed most. That is a term of the gift, said here so that giving is agreeing to it.
