Singida is a region of Tanzania, one of 30 and the sixth largest, covering about 49,200 square kilometres — 5% of the country. It lies wholly within the tropics. It borders Arusha, Dodoma, Iringa, Manyara, Mbeya, Shinyanga, Simiyu and Tabora.
