South Chungcheong is a province of South Korea, one of 17 and the eighth largest, covering about 7,530 square kilometres — 8% of the country. It lies in the northwest. It is made up of two separate pieces of land. It borders Daejeon, Gyeonggi, North Chungcheong, North Jeolla and Sejong.
