Ar Rayyān is a municipality of Qatar, one of seven and the largest, covering about 6,380 square kilometres — 57% of the country. It lies in the west. It borders Ad Dawhah, Al Daayen, Al Khawr, Al Wakrah, Madinat ach Shamal and Umm Salal.
