Pamplemousses is a district of Mauritius, one of 14 and the fifth largest, covering about 210 square kilometres — 10% of the country. It lies in the west. It lies wholly within the tropics. It borders Curepipe, Flacq, Grand Port, Moka, Plaines Wilhems, Port Louis, Port Louis city, Quatre Bornes, Rivière Noire, Rivière du Rempart and Vacoas-Phoenix.
