Dedza is a district of Malawi, one of 28 and the 12th largest, covering about 4,110 square kilometres — 3% of the country. It lies wholly within the tropics. It borders Dowa, Lilongwe, Mangochi, Ntcheu and Salima. Lake Malawi lies within it.
