Tai Po is a region of Hong Kong, one of 18 and the third largest, covering about 155 square kilometres — 15% of the country. It lies in the northeast. It is made up of two separate pieces of land. It lies wholly within the tropics. It borders Central and Western, Eastern, Kowloon City, Kwai Tsing, Kwun Tong, North, Sai Kung, Sha Tin, Sham Shui Po, Tsuen Wan, Wan Chai, Wong Tai Sin, Yau Tsim Mong and Yuen Long.

A gift named for Hong Kong is a restricted gift: recorded against Hong Kong and spent there. If it cannot be spent there within a year it is pooled into the general fund and spent wherever it is needed most. That is a term of the gift, said here so that giving is agreeing to it.
