Profile

Background and figures as recorded in the CIA World Factbook.

Two unified Thai kingdoms emerged in the mid-13th century. The Sukhothai Kingdom, located in the south-central plains, gained its independence from the Khmer Empire to the east. By the late 13th century, Sukhothai’s territory extended into present-day Burma and Laos. Sukhothai lasted until the mid-15th century. The Thai Lan Na Kingdom was established in the north with its capital at Chang Mai; the Burmese conquered Lan Na in the 16th century. The Ayutthaya Kingdom (14th-18th centuries) succeeded the Sukhothai and would become known as the Siamese Kingdom.

Two ways to take part

They are different things, done by different entities, and one is never a route to the other.

Roarcry · the church

Give

A donation to the congregation. It is not repaid, earns nothing, and carries no claim on anything. Roarcry is not a registered 501(c)(3), so give as a gift rather than for a write-off.

A gift named for Thailand is a restricted gift: recorded against Thailand and spent there. If it cannot be spent there within a year it is pooled into the general fund and spent wherever it is needed most. That is a term of the gift, said here so that giving is agreeing to it.

Investment Fund, LLC · the issuer

Invest

A subscription for Class B units. It is at risk, it is not tax-deductible, it is not a donation, and you can lose all of it. Open only to verified accredited investors.

One fund covers every country on the map, on one set of terms. No country has its own vehicle, its own minimum or its own return.

The church is not the issuer, not a guarantor and not a party to any subscription. No donation to the church confers any interest in the fund.
