Southern is a province of Sierra Leone, one of four and the second largest, covering about 20,100 square kilometres — 28% of the country. It lies in the south. It is made up of two separate pieces of land. It lies wholly within the tropics. It borders Eastern, Northern and Western.
They are different things, done by different entities, and one is never a route to the other.
