Francisco Morazán is a department of Honduras, one of 18 and the third largest, covering about 8,520 square kilometres — 8% of the country. It lies in the south. It lies wholly within the tropics. It borders Choluteca, Comayagua, El Paraíso, La Paz, Olancho, Valle and Yoro.
