Satakunta is a region of Finland, one of 18 and the 12th largest, covering about 8,360 square kilometres — 3% of the country. It lies in the southwest. It is made up of two separate pieces of land. It borders Finland Proper, Ostrobothnia, Pirkanmaa and Southern Ostrobothnia. The Kokemäenjoki runs through it.
