Lori is a province of Armenia, one of eleven and the third largest, covering about 3,740 square kilometres — 13% of the country. It lies in the northwest. It borders Aragatsotn, Gegharkunik, Kotayk, Shirak and Tavush.

A gift named for Armenia is a restricted gift: recorded against Armenia and spent there. If it cannot be spent there within a year it is pooled into the general fund and spent wherever it is needed most. That is a term of the gift, said here so that giving is agreeing to it.
