Łódź is a voivodeship|province of Poland, one of 16 and the ninth largest, covering about 18,500 square kilometres — 6% of the country. It borders Greater Poland, Kuyavian-Pomeranian, Masovian, Opole, Silesian and Świętokrzyskie.

A gift named for Poland is a restricted gift: recorded against Poland and spent there. If it cannot be spent there within a year it is pooled into the general fund and spent wherever it is needed most. That is a term of the gift, said here so that giving is agreeing to it.
