Nothing here is owed. Give if you can, say so if you cannot, and no one in the room will know which of those you did.

Payment is handled off-site by the processor. Roarcry never stores a card number, and giving records are seen only by the two members who audit the books.
Where a dollar goes
How the congregation has agreed to split whatever comes in. Nothing has come in yet, so this is a plan and not a report — when there is a year to report, this band will carry that instead and say so.
Audit
Books will be closed and audited every January by two members who hold no office, then read aloud at the annual meeting. There is nothing in them yet.
Reserves
Roarcry will keep three months of operating cost and no more. Anything past that goes to relief.
Refunds
If you gave by mistake, say so within thirty days and it comes back, no explanation needed.
Debt
The congregation has voted not to borrow. If we cannot pay for it, we wait or we do without.
Give hours instead
Hours count the same as the purse. Most of what this church comes to have will never be bought.
A season
Carry one thing from the start of a season to the end of it. When there is a garden, that means a row; until then it means whatever the congregation is actually doing.
A shift
Setting up, the sound desk, the table kitchen, driving people to appointments, watching children so their parents can sit through a service. One shift a month keeps the whole thing standing.
A thing you own
Tools, a trailer, a freezer, a truck for a weekend. Lent or given — both are written down, and lent things come back.

Anyone may see the books, member or not. There is nothing in them yet — nothing has been given and nothing spent — and that is the most useful thing this page can tell you today. If something here does not add up, write to the elders and say so plainly.
